Working legs is extremely painful to me.

leg pressing is not an exercise.

Have you seen my thighs? They seem to work very well for me.

I hate leg day but because I do it consistently, it pays off. I don't do squats anymore, everything I do is on machines and I find it just as effective. In fact, the burn is worse on the leg press machines from what I got on squats. I was limited on squats by knee pain.

Did you squat deep enough? If you don't go deep enough it actually creates more pressure on the knee rather than less.

"oh! look at me and my might! behold, the many plates i stack on each side!"
old lady in the corner: "my goodness, look at all that weight!"
leg presser man: "don't be alarmed, ma'am. i know how to manipulate the mechanism thru making loud noises and using a minimal range of motion to make it appear i am workig hard."

I do machine leg press and I go very deep.

That shit don't work for me. Squats hurts my knees period, even leg presses do. But, the machine leg press hurts far less and is very effective.

I used to squat 315 for 20 reps, but that wasn't to failure. I don't want to die in the gym.
