when i was 19/20 i follwed the following program for 10 weeks and got truly nasty ripped. But afterwards i was really tired for about a month. Was it overtraining? I would like to follow something similiar again but i suspect i'll need to take more supplements or something so i can recover betterday

It took about 1 hr to complete/ 30 sec rests b/w sets.
i also took eca and carnitine.

If i did 33 or 34 set a workout(like day 1) at a high intensity level three times a week I would probably overtrain. I would have to either cut back intensity (not a good idea in my opinion), or cut the amount of days a week I trained, or cut the number of sets down and go with a higher intensity level. If it were me, I would cut the number of sets back some.

I've never knows the two terms 'ripped' and 'energetic' to go in the same sentence before...

i was thinking i might have to only do 2 hard sets per exercise. I usually had to lower the intensity on the seconde cycle of the split b/c i was quite sore from the first split. but i figured this just acted as a low intensity component of the microcycle... would it work just as well if i only repeated the split twice a week with say wed off in between?
