Why can't women and men be friends?

I think you can if there isn't any attraction. Sadly there usually is in a friendship. And in my experience, once the attraction wears off so does the other person's friendship. SHitty system we have. Now id like to vent about female friends who tell you about their father dying, and you tell them about how confused you are about your future, and then they get 'bored' of being obsessed with you and go hang out with other people and you become secretly bitter and dont return emails until everything slowly starts to unravel.

me too also, sometimes who is initially really attractive to you get's unattractive after you get to know them better...

I posted this earlier, but every guy that I have been attracted to, I have talked to beforehand, in some form or another. Getting to know them is what gets me.

I can't imagine it any other way...when it is right, you just know.

I think this happens for me too. I knew all of my boyfriends for awhile before I ever went on a date with them.
