This is true. I have guy friends, but only one that I'm really close to. We've been friends for almost 13 years and there has never been any attraction. He's like another brother to me.
The reason I ask... I wonder if you'd be able to remain friends once he became attached. It seems that there would be some tension with dude and his wife/gf if he kept up a close relationship with you.
Most of my friends are guys, and I will admit there has been some attraction between me and some in the past, but it's just something you get over if you want the friendship to work. Either that or you try something else. It's a choice you make.

Although, he had a serious g/f for almost 2 years. She didn't have a problem with us being friends. I've only had one b/f that had a problem with us being friends, but they knew each other before and hated each other.
