I just called the one hang up for the life time is that you can only transfer your subscrption three times with the liffe time but if you get the six yr its unlimtited transfers. the six is around $700 and the life is $500, also every transfer is $75.00. so it depends on how many vehicles you may obtian in those times frames

Yes each move from car or another radio is $75.00 unless you get the six year and they do sell portable boxes they cost around $100.00 so you can port it at home then take it to your car

me and my bro got my other bro a protable unit with home and car docking stations for christmas. There are also portable units that you can use without the dockign station, like regualr headphone units, and lsiten at the gym ,at work, at home, int the car, etc.... that's probably what I'll get.

I got the Starmate Reply (for car) for christmas - so far so good although I got NO sat signal just terristial as NYC appears to have too much noise with the buildings and lots of other factors - Plus I face south when I need to be west - Bought the home unit to so can just move the radio from one place to another - Didnt get the lifetime cause who knows if will still like in a year or so
