Who's done HST on juice?

To start a HST routine you need an open mind as it goes against what most of us have grown with, of training bodypart and then letting it rest for 5-7 days. I managed to get my head around it and have been doing it natural for last 8 weeks.

I'm about to start summer cutter (test/var/clen) and am really keen to carry on with HST. Who has done it while on juice?

It may feel like a waste of juice as you are only going up in small increments when your strength could be going through the roof. But I'm thinking that as you get stronger, you just really slow it down and exagerate excellent form!

Any input?
 
I'm finishing up my 3rd HST cycle and first real cycle of AAS.

Problems: HST is an 8 week program. It starts after you do SD.

My advice: If you're gonna do a 8+ week cycle, you may want to change the program. You may want to incorporate some flushing exercises in the 5's.

I wanted to get back into reasonable shape before starting AAS, so after SD, I trained naturally for a few weeks.

HST Routine:
1 - chest/shoulders/arms
2 - Legs/back
3 - chest/shoulders/arms #2
4 - Legs/back #2

day off as needed.

Arnold Press
EZ Curl
Crossover

Legs/back 1
Squat
Cable Row
Hammer Strength Pulldown

I started out doing sets of 20, then 15, then in the 10's, I started my cycle.

I extended the 10s to four weeks.

Currently in the 5's now and growing a lot. Most strength ^ has occured in the 5's. PRs in almost all exercises. I've noticed that for me, the 5's work the best, on or off.

AAS cycle was ~10 weeks long. It's been 100 primo/ 150 test prop EOD. I've missed a few shots of Primo, a longer acting steroid, but I always make sure to get the test shot.

Pros:
-- Building tendon strength early in the program avoid injury
-- Progressive overload allows me to add just a little weight each time

Cons:
-- Sticking to the same exercises for ~12 weeks
-- 5's don't incorporate flushing/pumping which is beneficial when on

I've gained a damn lot of size. I think the steroids + tons of protein are responsible for that, though.

I can say that this program has grown a little stale on me. I have always liked to vary the exercises that I do and when I stick to an exercise for over 8 weeks, I find that results dwindle.
 
The volume is way to low for a cycle when using hst, I use some of their theorys in my training.
 
to be honest, I saw really great things when using Needsizes 5x5 program while 'ON'. I like to switch between that and Doggcrapp's style...unless I'm recovering from a cycle (in which case, both are wayyyyy to intense).

But I must admit, I've never had the mind to complete a full HST cycle...guess its just me.
 
I am the man you are looking for.

I had a friend who did 8 weeks enth at 500mg and weeks 1-3 3mg dbol daily. he was doing HST.

He went up to 226 lbs from about 200 or maybe a little less.

it's unknown if the program really worked or not because he has nothing else to compare it to while on, because this was his first cycle.

he said if he had to do it over, he would have taken a more standard route.

The before and after pics really don't look much different. Then again, he is 6'3", so 26 lbs on him is nothing.

Your mileage may vary.
