who trains alone ??

I train alone most of the time, and I do not have a problem motivating myself. But, if I could find some good training partners I am sure it would do some good. It would be nice to have someone that could hand off a bench, watch my form and correct it as required (everyone has lapses in form now and again and it is not always noticable to the person lifting), and someone that I *know* can spot correctly and will not allow any weight to crush me :). I make it a point to go in and train with a group of stronger people at my gym once every two weeks or so, even though they train different than I do I always learn something. But, good training partners are hard to find.

Im 19 so all my friends want to do is drink, and if they do want to workout they want to do chest/abs/arms nobody has made it past leg day with me so I decided workout alone, I have been setting pr's like nothing I am gaining weight,up from 175 to 187 since start of sept natty with no visable rise in bf except a wee bit on lower abs(still have2) and I just get spots from people in the gym when I need it.

Thats exaclty what I meant :p

i'm on a solo mission 70% of the time. I have two friends who like to train with me, but since we're all in school our sched's conflict too much. plus one of them yaps too often and slows things down to a grind

i had a training partner for about a year, it was friggin great
but then aagain, he was a competiitve bodybuilder and while we trained it was no bs, that was for afterward

otherwise my only training partner is my mp3 player

i have tried training with others, but didn't like it, i think if goals are somewhat similar, that makes a big difference

I train alone except for squats. Training with someone is great motivator on squat day, but I wouldn't want to rely on someone else showing up the rest of the days I workout.

I wouldn't mind a PL training partner if I could find one who likes to go to the gym at 4:00 AM. (Hey, I have to commute to Chicago for work.) Course they would have to follow my routine. ;)
