Who here carries a concealed firearm?

Just the way I roll Yo.

Nothing gets tween my and my 9.

Even Thandie understands that.

I mean, thats how we got together...
She only rolls with bro's who aren't afraid to pack, Yo.

She also digs me cause I got my Escalade Lowered.

J/K.

In the navy, It took me 3 times to actually be allowed to carry a firearm for watch.
I suck.
Fine with me...
Not into killing.

i can neither confirm nor deny that rumor.

piss me off enough and you just might find out!

carrying isnt for everyone, it is a big responsibility and if you arent prepared to use your firearm if the situation calls for it then you shouldnt carry.

Im a 5 time convicted felon I used to carry one but now its not worth 20 yrs

I picked this up today.... Beretta PX4 Sub Compact.....

I put 150 rounds through it today. Super accurate for a SC.

What is the procedure to be able to carry a gun....? (legally)

Handgunlaw.us

It depends on your state. I know in Florida an unlicensed gun owner can carry in their vehicle, but the gun must be in a zippered case, a holster with a snap buckle, or in a hard case, and out of drivers reach (in glove box or trunk).

CCW holders can not carry in bars, sporting events, hospitals, police stations, or where private property is marked no weapons.

in texas you can carry in private businesses that post no carry signs, businesses have to post the specific "30.06" no carry sign for it to be legally enforceable.

I can carry legally in 30+ states. My favorite concealed gun is this little guy right here..

It's a 380 small enough to sit in the palm of your hand. It's been out over a year but still nearly impossible to find, the waiting list is about 6 months long to get one.

It's a nice little pocket gun. Not very fun to shoot though, but I guess it wasn't designed to be.

I carry 24-7! I have a Taurus PT92 9mm. I chamber it with 147gr Federal Premium Hydra Shocks! I carry mine with all the time because i want to know that if the situation ever came down to "me or someone else"......... its gonna be me over them. To me, my life or my family's life is more important than a criminals. No dought! My wife also carries all the time. She's packin a Ruger LCP .380 chambered with Hornaday Critical Defense ammo! And let me tell ya, shes a bad bitch with it! Oh ya, and were from Tejas! :D

i bet anyone who actually owns a gun thinks they have what it takes to use it when necessary, whether that's true or not.

For sure. Unless you've done it before, maybe police or military, you really have don't have any idea how you would react/perform in a situation like that...

So has any one ever had to actually use a gun for self defense? I can only imagine the legal issues that you would have to deal with. Especially if it was something like a kid with a BB gun trying to take your watch.

I don't carry, I have never needed a gun yet, and I hope I never do.

in Louisiana, it's quite legal to shoot someone invading your home. the law is known as the "shoot the burgular" law.

i have been advised by various police officers that if u shoot someone on your door step or coming in the window to drag their carcus into the house and shoot 'em again! :whatever:

Please dont do that, we would miss you on here, lol.

In Texas you can carry your weapon in your car without a permit (so the police woman of the year told us last week whilst we were a visitin) A carry permit her is also a good thing, very little crime in the outer cities. Of course where there are a concentration of crooks seems they rob each other and commute to better neighborhoods.

I have no problem with carrying out enough resistance in a situation where either me or my family is at risk. If I can shoot my best friends (dogs) I have nom issue with someone trying to take my life or property.

So yes we carry, no I haven't had a chance to shoot someone. I have years ago detained someone at gunpoint until the police arrived. When they came in sirens & lights on I was told to place my weapon on the ground and stand fast. Then after the fellows I drew down on were handcuffed the officer handed my .45 back to me and said have a nice day, drive carefully. (They pulled a knife and wanted my wallet and watch)

When I went to court for their trial one of them was killed by a policeman during a robbery at a local convenience store where the guy shot a clerk for $60 dollars, so only one of them got to spend time in jail. Looking back, I should have shot them both.
