Where to slowly put $5000 for emergency savings

What up brah's and bro's. I want an emergency savings account in case anything happens (miss rent payment, car breaks down, emergency money) but the problem is that it is hard to start putting money into my Savings account because it is too easy to transfer it to my checking account and spend it.

I have bought 200 dollars worth of silver over the past week for LONG term savings, because I know I wont sell the silver when I have a bill. I am just not gonna touch it. Ill leave it in a bag in my house, but if I left cash in a bag at my house i would easily just use it.

So what is another alternative to having emergency money readily available to you, but without being so easy to transfer it or withdraw it unless you really need it?

I was thinking money market, or just learning not to spend my savings lol. But I think ill need some time before I learn that
