where is there to go and what is there to do in maine??

i'm planning a rendezvous.. with "the asian"... and we've always wanted to go to maine.. stay at a bed and breakfast.. see some lighthouses.. eat fresh lobster in a small cozy little restaurant..

that's the way i've pictured it anyway...


so.. where is there to go and what is there to do in maine..

is there any "must see" type of deals up there??

are you driving? for a rendezvous, isn't maine a little far? Lots of white people and plaid...not the most romantic...

plus.. we've lived in san fran (actually.. she still does).. and we've lived in hawaii.. so we'd like to get away from big city and tropical type things... do something different.. ya know?
