Well, it all really depends on what you want. If you don't want to deal with a bunch of yuppies, then avoid Euclid and Oak. MLK is really nice if you're looking for something moderately priced (and if you like some mighty gooooood ribs ). Hmmm, there are many more options. Market is interesting - there's definitely more of an artsy feel to it. The corner of 22nd and Jefferson is kind of shady - avoid it. You could also find some good deals on Franklin. Oh, yeah, Birch is niiiiiiiice.

i am a very suspicious person. my suspicion was most aroused when you said "it sure is a stepup from 3rd ave." because this is so very true.
i have been to few places and am aware of the fact that the same st. names are used throughout the country.
but i will keep my eye on you just in case.

Yep. You can't even compare Australia to such Thirld World shitholes as Switzerland or Denmark. Also, the total absence of paved roads and housing in Berlin, and other major "urban" centers in Germany like Munich or Hamburg, make it almost impossible for the naked street kids to survive. It's pretty sad. I've also seen dirty Parisian whores give free blowjobs to Romanian Gypsies so that they would have something warm in their stomachs for that night - it's pretty amazing how fucked up life is over there.

Well, I've also been to several cities in this great nation of ours, and I've noticed that street names usually correlate with certain urban expansion patterns and internal migration. In other words, these patterns apply not only to one city, but to most urban areas in the States. Therefore, I think that specific urban planning, street names (as part of municipal planning) and urban migration patterns are interconnected.
