I have done probably 100 injects give or take, total. No not as experienced as some of you vets. However, the delt inject i just finished was the first "bleeder" I have ever had. When I pulled out it didnt squirt. But it did run right out fast and right down my arm. YES I aspirated and got an air bubble. Obviously I went through a vein or I knicked one.
So The question is, when this happens....WTF is that taste you get in your mouth? it tasts like stale rusty garden hose water??? I noticed shortly after I began to push the plunger that I had this fucked up taste in my mouth. I said to myself...I bet I knicked or went through a vein. So why the taste? that was really weird. Not freaked or anything, just curious. Obviously It wasnt "in" the vein cause I'm not on the floor coughing my ass off.

hey a friend of mine always hits my delts for me...and just about every time i bleed after the injection and i feel a deep pain...like the injection went deep into the muscle...he pulls back on the plunger and always gets air bubbles so its safe to inject...i never got that weird taste in my mouth...i dont really worry about the bleeding part...i think about it like getting a cut, wen u get a cut u dont break a vein but you still bleed...so i wouldnt worry about it to much

When I made homebrew tren, I had the same taste and sometimes coughing. Not sure why though. Maybe one of our "docs" can fill us in.

I went through a vein and I guess it was really close to the injection. When I pulled out the pin it was like the whole 2 cc went into my blood stream. Taste like shit, had a mean head rush and lungs felt like lead pipes for a couple days not to mention the coughing the went with it. Don't want to experience it again that's for sure.
The blood stream takes the shit and moves it through the body so quick and excretes wherever it naturally excretes basically that's where the taste comes from. I'm pretty sure it's quite that simple.

No, there was no blood in the syringe when i aspirated. when i was about half way in with the needle i noticed a painful spot for just a quick second then i was through it. could that have been the vein that i obviously ran through on my way in?

Captainahole, unlike what happened to you, I think my vein I hit must have been closer to the surface and none of the gear got directly in my blood stream. I did get a little head rush but just for a quick second. I think it was more over reaction to the blood gushing out. Because I was thinking SHIT! how much gear is going to get wasted.

It can if you pass completely through the blood vessel and pop out the other side. When you pull out the needle it pops back into the lumen of the vessel.
