When does dating become a relationship/commitment?

I would think that it varies from person to person, as well as being a function of external factors. I suppose when one moves from casual dating (however one defines casual dating) to something more exclusive, that would constitute a certain degree of commitment and in turn give rise to some form of relationship.

The words "relationship" and "commitment" are kind of abstract and undoubtedly carry different meanings to people... this thread definitely has TOTW potential. :D

Ive been with dudes who did a lot of crying and that pretty much sent me over the edge. i cant stand it. you know its bad when youre telling a 300 lb Strongman that he's too emotionally needy and he cries too much!
