do u guys think it is really necessary to put as much effort into trying to do cardio on off days of training to prevent overtraining, or do u think it doesnt really matter if u are taking in sufficient calories at a maintenance rate. i was going to do a 4 day split lifting on monday, tuesday, thursday, and friday and do cardio 2 days low intesnity walking 45 minutes AM on sunday and tuesday, and 2 days intense 20 min running AM on monday and thursday. waht is your views on this, also i lift after school ( i go home eat a meal then go lift) so it is a long break in between cardio and training.
