but thats slipping i feel

i try to be nice but i think being 6'3 289 ( now) gives people kinda a license to be mean to me.

They Fear me on some level i think, or maybe I am just ugly
they act First Negatively without ever asking any Q's:(

I dunno, people like that (your size) don't intimidate me or make me fear them. I would only act negatively if I got a negative vibe or action first. I should ask some of the 300 lb'ers I know if this is common with them too. I've never heard any of them really say it is (maybe the intimidation, but not the people being mean to them - if anything people are nice to them because of it!).

another board I hang out at has several 250-300 lb'ers. I should start a thread over there asking if their size causes people to be mean to them and report back to you. Remind me tomorrow! :)

I dream of 220 again, it'll be so nice! I put some weight on after my back injury. When healthy I was happiest at 220-225. Felt much more athletic. Right now I feel like I could roll over in my sleep and break my arm.
 
yeah, but I'm 6'2" :( I think I look skinny, but people tell me I'm big. In pictures with family and friends I'm usually the biggest person there. Then I see Wulfgar in the gym and realize how small I am. That bastard.

Wulfgar is about 6'1" or 6'0" and currently around 265-270 I believe. He's getting ready for a show in July (I think), and he plans on coming in around 255ish if I'm not mistaken.

My inseam is like 36", so almost half my height is legs. My legs suck. I work them hard, but the muscles are so long...it'll just take longer to build them.

I have shit genetics. Was always a skinny kid. Lifted in HS and college and after my first year of college I got to around 185 at 6'2" with a 29" waist (it's bigger now!). I stopped lifting (for various stupid reasons, just got busy and had other priorities), and shrunk. Didn't start lifting again till early 2001 and I was about 160 lbs. Looked like an Aushwitz survivor.

Managed to get up to 185-190 pretty quickly, but eating over 5000 cals and still couldn't gain much more. Got up to 200 with some help, but with my hyperthyroidism (which was officially diagnosed in early 2004), nothing I could do would make me stay over 200 (eating 8000++ cals a day feeling full and bloated could keep me at 200ish though).

Got on tapazole to control my thyroid in 2004 and could finally hold on to weight without eating so goddamn much. I still have a fast metabolism, and shitty genetics (I say shitty but some people would kill for them), but I managed to get to 220 at about 12-14%...and I'm still a growing boy! :qt:

We'll do that meatup in the end of July! I booked the flights tonight. We are flying in to PDX, then driving to Spokane, then back to the Couve (I think). In the Couve for about a week, then back to Seattle for another wedding, then fly out of SEA.

PM me your digits before then and we'll get SaladFuck down there too.

I would kill for a fast metabolism! I have to bust my ass to drop weight. Nice thing is I could stare at the colored dumbbells and get bigger. That was all fine and dandy in my twenties, but now in my thirties its a curse! Its been a few years since I've juiced and I'm not sure I'll ever do it again.

How old are you?

lol...35! But people who don't know, always guess like 27. If I didn't have a little gray and the fivehead, they may guess 25...maybe?

I'm 6'2" and currently 306. Lots of guys at the gym are jealous of how big my shoulders are. :worried: :rainbow:

I do get the intimidation thing as most people won't approach me. Which is completely fine as I am fairly shy and introverted irl. Most people are killer nice to me though. Typically I get that "oh no it's godzilla" look from women so I don't get a chance to talk to most of them.

women love me...but I'm married, so it's just funny. They stare and I laugh. Good thing is, it won't matter at all when I'm 300lbs. Hell, it wouldn't have bothered me even as a single guy, but I just don't give a fuck. I'm still a friendly guy, and damn funny too. That attitude (don't give a fuck) has gotten me more pussy than anything really. :)
 
Fuckin EF went down on me like a cheap whore earlier tonight and my computer's been acting up ever since. I'm gonna shut'er down and go to bed niglets. I'll spit at yous in the morning.

My old roommate used to get pissed because we'd go out and he'd try to meet girls, and approach them. I'd walk around and check things out, catch a few girls looking...walk back over and sit down or get a drink, whatever. Next thing you know girls are approaching me. Used to piss him off! lol!

You're right though. Attitude is most important. Even how you carry yourself, your body language. The interest is there before the mouth is opened. Then you just gotta have the wit and charm to back up the rest.

Yeah I don't approach people at all. Almost every girl I have ever gone out with has approached me. Although there were a lot more girls approaching when I weighed 240 and had abs.LOL

wax, but i have naturally arched and dark eyebrows. Get complimented on them often. i have to wax just to clean them up otherwise they look jungle like/unibrowish

You would stand out to me in a crowd. I always target the biggest guys in the room/gym and look at them incessantly. Big guys have always been more attractive to me then avg or smaller sized guys. And i dont mean lean and ripped dudes either. Just big and strong looking guys. I look at shoulders/traps first to see if the guy works out.

Odd, I've got a buddy who's 6-3 and 350-ish. Huge fucker, his shoulders look like they're as wide as a door frame. Whenever he goes to a bar or any public place it seems like people flock to him, want to stand next to him, want to touch him. Which is funny 'cause he's an introvert and hates being the center of attention. He says that he sees people doing laps around the aisle at the supermarket to get a double-take, or come right up and ask if he's an ex-football-pro.

I had a bf once who was 7' tall and 330lbs. When we went out to dinner together, the waiter would VERY OFTEN come to the table and say, "dinner is on the house tonight." We were thinking "WTF" but never said anything. Hey free dinner is free dinner after all. The only thing we could ever figure out is that people must have thought he was a football player or something. This was in Lexington, KY, and they are sports OBSESSED in Lexington.

Yup, I've got a picture back home of us standing next to each other after we had lunch........I dwarf him, he's like 5'7-5'8 sub 200 and I'm 6ft 265-270..........but we have really similiar heads, caricatures almost.
