Whats the most pain you have endured?

Mine would have been when I around 12 years old. I had an Apendectomy, which went bad. A botched job, by a bad surgon. A sever infection set in, and poison had began to build up in my abdominal walls. So when the "New" doctor arrived and looked at it. He told my parent that there wasn't any time to waste. He had to get the poison out right then and there in my room. He came in with the scalpal and without any sedation, he sliced the incision open. I passed out from the pain it was so bad. I woke up the next morning after having another surgory to repair what the first Doctor had done to me. A simple 3 day stay turned into nearly 3 weeks.
That ruined my whole summer.

Ramming into a ditch w a cement drain pipe at 40mpg after hitting a deer, the truck bottomed out went airborne clipped a telephone pole into about 15 ft up ,started flipping crashed ,bounced & rolled, then crashed several more times before comming to rest on the driver's side, i was pulled out shortly after that thru the passenger window ,we hadn't gotten 20 ft away when the truck exploded in a fireball.
The pain came at the ER where 6 Dr's were awaiting that proceeded to sew me up in several areas of my body ,eventually the pain med wore off but they kept going even after i was still screaming in agony.

Going down a mountain on a cement slide on a sleigh and hitting a rock. Somehow going air born.. When i came back down i hit the cement face first and had cement burns over quite a bit of my body and a blood clot in my leg.

Seeing my face and body after that accident and the pressure from the clot.. i wanted to die

Ow!!

How'd that happen??

Had it done in the doctors office and they didn't have the right clamp to grab the vas deferen. He gave me 1 valium and it didn't do anything but make me hyper.

He cut the right side and couldn't clamp the vas deferen so he did the left side with no problem. Came back to the right side and worked on me for 3 freaking hours. Shot me several times in the nutsack with local anesthesia because it kept wearing off.

He finally got frustrated and just sewed me up and told me I was going to have to come back in a month and have it done in the hospital. I bled for a solid month.

I was wearing 2 kotexes/twice a day to control the bleeding. Stitches broke several times, infection set in, many rounds of antibiotics. A Nightmare On My Street is what I nicknamed this episode.

Finally had it done in the hospital but still got another infection and stitches broke again. Was out of work for three months. Nuts were the size of a large grapefruit for almost 3 months. My friends autographed a grapefruit and gave it to me for prosterity. Bastards!

And to think I did it on Valentine's Day for my wife.

Wow,there certainly has been some suffering between us on this thread.Another one I didnt mention was when I had a motorbike accident but there was no pain for sometime thats why I didnt bring it up.I knew I was pretty mangled when I looked down at my leg and it was all chewed up and I still couldnt feel no pain.Your body goes into shock when it senses some serious damage because pain only confuses it.Luckily I didnt break my leg but I could see my kneecap wich really freaked me out.

when i was in 'nam i was caputured by the vc (vietcong) and held for awhile (about 3 weeks) - they forgot more about giving pain than most dickheads ever learn but the one thing that hurt the most was breaking my fingers and cracked ribs - that hurt like hell just to breathe - it just so happens that 2 years ago i was involved in an automobile accident and the airbag cracked two of my ribs, brike my sternum and the fingers on my left hand got messed up - so now breathing, trying to lie down, and the reseting of my fingers all contributed to a real fun recovery...
