I didn't mind New Orleans that much other that it is infested with crime, corruption, poverty, freaks, humidity, bugs, critters, hookers, ...ahem...ethnic diversity...., mold & mildew, urine stench, and long ass bridges. Its a good place for tourists to go so they can really appreciate where they're from.

Grew up in Georgia on grits, fried okra, fried green tomatoes, fried chicken, fried catfish (fried anything I guess), collard greens, hush puppies, sweetened ice tea, biscuits, pecan pie, sweet potato pie...... no wonder there were so many fat fuckers in the South.
