lol. My dad had the BIGGEST sweet tooth know to mankind. I can recall my mom hiding cookies in the dishwasher so he'd not find 'em.

You could fix co-worker's big red wagon. IF you know he has food in the community fridge, throw it out and watch the man go ape shit cuz his twinkes are missing.

*note to self*

NEVER piss off Vixbabe!

I'm a cream puff to those who respect me.

I would be the first perosn to offer him the LAST slice of bread IF he had asked, as I'm sure you and Blue would do too. I hate when people take advantage of me though. GRRRR.

Really, like what is that about?!
I would not even fathom taking someone else's stuff.

I could understand if this dude that took my bread was diabetec and needed something so he wouldn't pass out, but really "Jen I took your bread, sorry, I was hungry"

I'm now eating two boiled eggs instead. I really wanted toast :-(

I agree... Me and the Old Grump would regularly bring in pots of food to feed the entire department "just because" we like to cook and there were only two of us at home.

People are fukkin nasty anymore. They have ZERO respect and no social boundaries. Makes you wonder if their parents forgot to teach them or if they just plain didn't give a shit for all of their parent's best efforts. :whatever: i would rather pass out from starvation than to even put a co-worker in the position to ask them. I mean, I wouldn't want them to feel obligated to say, "Here have it." out of being socially correct and feel deep down, "Shit - I was hungry. I REALLY wanted to eat *that*." .... as I know I WOULD if the situation were reversed. Just all about doing unto others....

yep, me to a "T".
I give and do for anyone for any reason, but hate when it's expected or others take advantage.

So tell me more about your cream puff?! ;-)

It was not just toast, it was my breakfast and I need to eat.
And this was special toast, not just any toast. This was organic toast
This is like a Seinfeld episode...haha!

It was not just any rye, it was marble rye

I can see you and Grump sharing with the office staff. It's those little acts of kindess that make a good staff a GREAT staff! I hope they appreciate your kindness too.

Another of my dad's famous quotes I recall: " Evil habbits soil a fine dress more than mud;good manner's, by their deeds, easily set off a lowly garb".

Your father was obviously a very intelligent man.

I will have to remember that quote as I am a HYUGE proponent of manners.
