What order should these go in?

velvett said:
cover floor
prep walls/ceilings for paint
Sand down vanity front (assuming it's staying in the room)
vacuum and wipe down walls, ceiling and vanity
Paint bathroom
paint vanity front (sand between coats)
replace light fixture
replace faucet
replace hardware on vanity doors
install new towel racks
replace blinds
awesome, thanks Velvett.

One question though - about the light fixture. if the existing one takes up more wall space than the new one, and i paint around the existing one, and then take it off, wont that leave some part of the wall unpainted when I install the new one?

Hire someone to do it and go have fun.
fuck i would love that but my husband will have no part of it. this is our small powder room on the second floor - not a large bathroom with a tub or anything.

and our master bath has been under construction for almost a year now and he refuses for me to simply call someone (stilleto) and hire them to finish the job in a few days. instead, it stays unusable with the new shower/etc still in boxes in our entryway since november last year lol.

help

Right that is why you should take them off before painting....

that's what i thought. ill take it down and put a little lamp on the floor in there while i paint (plus there;s a huge window so sunlight helps) and install the new fixture once the painting is complete.
