fuck i would love that but my husband will have no part of it. this is our small powder room on the second floor - not a large bathroom with a tub or anything.jnevin said:Hire someone to do it and go have fun.

and our master bath has been under construction for almost a year now and he refuses for me to simply call someone (stilleto) and hire them to finish the job in a few days. instead, it stays unusable with the new shower/etc still in boxes in our entryway since november last year lol.
help

One question though - about the light fixture. if the existing one takes up more wall space than the new one, and i paint around the existing one, and then take it off, wont that leave some part of the wall unpainted when I install the new one?
that's what i thought. ill take it down and put a little lamp on the floor in there while i paint (plus there;s a huge window so sunlight helps) and install the new fixture once the painting is complete.Gymgurl said:Right that is why you should take them off before painting....

wood not formica. ive already taken off the doors and yes, i plan to replace hardware with chrome which is what the faucet and towel racks are.stilleto said:i'll do it for you.
yes, sand down the wall where the old fixture was- you'll see the outline when you put up the new one.
is the vanity wood? if it's formica, throw it out- don't paint it.
if it's wood and you're painting it, take off the doors! and the hardware. and sand it between coats. (i just saw that that bitch velvett already said that).
other things to consider:
change cabinet knobs/hardware to match faucet and towel racks (don't have brass hinges and chrome faucet).
make sure towel racks are level.
miter corder of any molding you put up and paint molding first before you install. makes for cleaner lines.
make lummy give you oral afterwards. before you shower.
