what kind of log books does everyone have to record their workouts?

I've been looking around and want some feedback - everything I saw at office max I was very unimpressed with.
 
I have been using Excel spreadsheets for a while now. I just print out that day's workout (I have a template I am comfortable with) and then put all of them in a 3-ring binder.

However, at a strongman comp in March I bought a log from APT that is really good. I'll see if I can find a link
 
Forum software like this board :)

then I just type it in, but it's cool, I can do searches etc to see what I did a year ago etc

I use excel files that I made up. Hell, I just posted them a few threads ago for others to look at. Everyone should keep a journal of some type, just to stay focused and to track progress.
 
Honestly I have a shitty system. I just have a bunch of notebooks, it works for keeping me motivated and setting goals, but I could never go back and look anything up in the old notebooks I don't know when anything is from.
