I'm also going to toss Opeth in there.

I'd love to say Metallica, but of course, as any music fan, I can't stand much of the last 15 years of their music. Still one of the best live acts I've ever seen, though.

I'd also love to say Porcupine Tree, as they amaze me with everything I hear, but there are plenty of records in their back catalogue I still need to listen to. So I'll call them a "recent favorite." I'll also throw Riverside into that category, too.
