As a side note, when I went down to Texas I did not see a single hot chick as all of them were sporting rolls. It was pretty disgusting, especially considering how hot and humid the weather was I couldn't imagine the nasty sweat and stink oozing within their crevices.

When I was down in TX, I had a confederate flag w/ a bullseye on it, w/ the words, "you lost get over it." None of my buddies down there saw the humor.

lol. They usually don't. I love "The south will rise again" they spew when they're drinking. I respond with "Well it's been a good 150 years. So whenever you're ready. Granted you guys have a laid back life style down here, but shit get moving." The only thing worse than a Southern toting that flag around thinking they're a rebel is the jackass from Central PA who does.

They're so easy to piss off. Tell them NASCAR isn't a sport, and watch out. Tell them Earnhardt wasn't the best, and they'll swing. There is a radio station offering a sum of money for anyone who would get in a pink station wagon with a rainbow on it, and an Earnhardt sucks sign and drive around parts of NC. Noone from up North thinks it's a big deal, and if we could get off of work we would do it. Don't even get them started on red state-blue state.

Like I said, my roommate is from SC and he's one of the smartest and nicest people I know. We're the odd couple of roommates and just laugh at the ignorant people we're surrounded by from all over the country.

I live in Philly, and going to MD is like visiting the twilight zone. We consider it to be the South. I guess noone wants to claim it.

As a PROUD Yankee............ ANYWHERE below the Mason-Dixon Line is considered the South..... Not the Deep-South, I admit, but southern none the less.

Maryland was a slave state, irregardless of which side of the Civil War they fought on. It has stronger cultural bonds to the south than to the north.

EXACTLY, Chicks were coming up to me left and right in the clubs and just being out in general compared to New Jersey where you really had to work your magic to get anywhere. And we all know I have no magic.
