I think during stressful times, it's all the more important to make sure that YOU are taken care of, even IF you wish to be the most supportive as possible for frriends and family, YOU must be at your best.
Really consider the suggestions I made. Also make sure that you get around and outside a lot as well. Get your attention and focus out, away from your head and your current problems. Go have funm go for a walk, go work out, whatever, .... these will all help.
Although I am no big fan of Docs, at least a Doc will (the good ones anyway) take the time to fully screen your symptoms, what you and your life is like, and then based on that info, experince, and data they have access to, start to try various meds with you in an attempt to see what is best. Sometimes they will get it right very quickly, and some people and their Doc's take a year or two to get it right.
