What is Cortisol? And why is it bad?

I'm trying to understand cortisall, especially since PES Erase works very much against it.

So basically cortisol is produced when we diet, get stressed, workout, etc. and excess cortisol actually prevents fat from being destroyed? Is this formula that simple or am I missing something?

Cortisol is a hormone that essentially protects the body. It's released in times of stress to anticipate injury. To put it simply, it "numbs" pain. It's also catabolic.

I see nothing in Erase that lowers cortisol. Sometimes supplements claim to do everything under the sun. (BRIDGE has phospstydlserine -- proven to block cortisol).

We need cortisol, but most people produce more than necessary and that holds back gains.

It will also allow your increased testosterone levels to give maximal effects by reducing the rise in anti-anabolic cortisol.

I couldn't access the page but I think the testosterone connection is a bit of a stretch. Sure, T works better with less stress hormones to compete with, but that doesn't mean lowered cortisol raises test or raised test lowers cortisol.

Vitamin C and taking time off from stims is a good idea, besides staying stress free.
Cortisol stimulates glucogensis which can begin breaking down your muscles for energy and even bone tissue.

Hmm I'd to see this too. I don't much of the make up about cortisol just always heard it's bad for you, and that's why I like to use Erase by pes.

Yes, good ol' C is good for the nervous system in general.
