What I wrote to Fox news O'Reily Factor.

Excellently put Quad, but I'm disappointed by all of the O'Reilly bashing. 90% of the time I see eye to eye with his analysis of current events. Even the best can be misinformed. Maybe if enough of us users wrote well thought out and polite letters, with our facts in check, it might open his eyes. Maybe not. He is all about facts. But that still wont change the fact that the anabolic steroid act is law. And in his eyes we are probably law breakers.

O'Reily is about facts as HE sees them. I also agree with him on a lot of stuff (he's great at child protection laws and busting overly liberal judges) but all too often he refuses to accept any opinion contrary to his own, even in light of the facts. He doesn't report the news, it's the news according to O'Reily.

And I'll bet he doesn't just see steroids as illegal, he sees them as killer drugs and he'll preach that message from the highest mountain top. Because he can.

If you do get on the show Quad ask him to show you the bodies and the cases where AAS lead to the death of this person or that person. He'll site Lyle Alzado and not accept any retort. He'll site the kid who killed himself and his parents said he was using steroids. He'll site the latest killings from (the wrestler -- forgot his name). He'll site women who claim they were victims of roid raged husbands. Maybe he even knows about Mohammed Benzia, Craig Titus and Albert Beckles.

Saying that other drugs are more dangerous does not strengthen the argument.

If anyone is going to present a viable argument it can't be done from an emotional or personal standpoint. It must be made with the backing of doctors. They are the only experts that the public will listen to.

AAS are in the media called "performance enhancing drugs"
Cialis, Viagara and Caverject are also "performance enhancing drugs"
If you were a middle aged man and were prescribed any of the ED drugs, and then went on a killing spree no law enforcement agency in the world would consider breaking the doctor/patient covenant of privacy because we as citizens have a right to privacy when it comes to doctor/patient privilege.

The same government is imposing martial law over our privacy when it comes to prescription testosterone, nandrolone et al.............fuck the fact that these same meds are prescribed to AIDS/HIV patients experiencing wasting......every media source has said exactly the same thing.......police found prescription steroids at Benoit's residence, and then proceeded to raid the doctor's office........as a citizen I would be outraged if the government took anyone's privacy away.......especially the privilege between doctor/patient.....etc.........

OReilley is a lowlife scum bag. I lost all respect for the FoxNews when they refuse to report American sacrifices in Iraq. Two weeks ago when there were 14 American soldiers killed in one day in Iraq. Foxnews wouldn't even report it. There was not one mention of it on their website at all.

And also Steve Austin's wife is getting her 10 minutes of fame. Ranting and raving about roid rage. I'm sure she'll have a book out by fall. Welcome to America....
