What does everyone do for work

I'm a mod on 3 boards..

the pay is ok, makes my mortgage and car payments..

my wife earns another $80,000 per year

so i'm good..



jk.. i own a mortgage company, and an IT company that does data security for Banks..
 
Business Banker for the Citibank.
Deal with clients with annual sales over $20 million per year.
Deposits, Loans, Lines, Mortgages, Investments, etc...
AMAZING JOB!
 
I do comp repairs, web page design and am also a part time stock clerk. I just try to stay busy and afford my gear.lol lol
 
i've got my own handyman service, after working for a concrete company for most of my life, i decided to start my own business 2 years ago, and I love it. I will never work for anyone else as long as i live. business is pretty good, considering I didn't have a handy bone in my body when i started. I basically taught my self how to fix things and put things together with the help of my father, who owns a similiar business. making your own schedule is awesome!!
 
actually most of my buisness was subprime, and ya it sucks ass, but owell im actually getting out of the market for a little bit and then ill jump back in when it picks up around here a bit

I am a chemical operator, for a major chem plant. I operate a Olifins unit. Pretty good process, its continuous, if that means anything to anyone. Been doing it since 1993, I work a 4 days on 4 days off sch. Rotating from night to days. Its pretty nice, of course I have a regular gym memership, but we have a surprisingly nice gym at work. Its convenient , 12 hr days are long, but when the gym is at your door when you walk out the gate, It makes all the difference in the world.

I own a flooring retail center, Tile, carpet,hardwood,laminate, vinyl etc.

Took the business over from my dad. We have been in business 30 years in November.

don't worry about it.. sub prime is mostly what i do, it's fun and i get to meet some interesting people to say the least.. makes me feel like i am helping them at least..

Did a-c in cali it's a pain in the arse.. everyone thinks their butts don't stink, and that you don't deserve what you are getting paid..

someone that is in need, and has been told no 1-3 times.. thinks i'm a god and am really doing something to help them.. and i think so as well..

oh.. for the subprime market.. what got them in trouble is doing undocumented income for purchases.. that's something i never got into.. so..yep..

I'm a helper..

child youth worker,I finally found something I love to do an am really good at,however at the home im at now the pay is shit,so Ill be moving into corrections within the year hopefully unless I get into a better home that pays more
 
I build the car seats for the Toyota Camry and the Camry Solora, and next year we will be adding the Ace too our plant. Haven't seen the car yet but I think it is suppost to be one of their more premuim cars.

Looking to go back to Vocational School for Industrial Maintenance and get in on that $$$, especially since that is what I like to do.

i was laughing at the peeps dropping the ancillary dollar figures. i don't want to brag or nothing, but i just walked by several office buildings worth over 100 million dollars each.

now, if you'll excuse me, i'm off to a meeting with a bunch of people, some of which earn as much as 150k per year.
