Have you ever seen alot of cows in Korea? Isn't it amazing how they create all these dishes that involved beef, yet have almost no natural beef of their own? Yet, isn't it amazing on how many stray dogs / cats and rats they have?

It got me the first time too when I was in the Philippines, but then again I was never a dog lover.

It has always mystified me why some people have such an aversion to eating the meat of *this* animal but have no trouble whatsoever eating the meat of *that* animal.

I don't know anything about breeds of dogs in particular. Smurfy gave some sound advice. Be VERY CAREFUL when you are choosing a pet that will be around your children that goes for dogs, cats, fish... whatever. If there is even a chance that it will cause an issue for the kids I don't care how *cute* they are. Don't do it.
