What do you do when homeless people ask you for money?

Funny thing happen when I used to live in H-town. There was a tiny strip center on 1960 that had a guy that stood around the entrance everyday begging, he had one of those cardboard signs "will work for food or money", you've seen them. He was always hanging out there bothering the customers and one day I looked up and he wasnt there. They had put up on one of those outdoor signs that businesses use, on it it read, "this guys a jerk, he won't work, he just wants your free food and money!" LMAO

I never saw the guy again...

I was having this huge fight with my boyfriend one night...
We were full on screaming at eachother in the middle of the street (yeah we were classy like that).
This guy walks inbetween us and asks my boyfriend for money. I continued screaming (but directed my screaming at the panhandler) "Seriously dude, does this look like a good fucking time to be asking for money?" Then my boyfriend threw a dollar at him.
The dude walked away and the boyfriend and I continued our fight.

there are places they can go. i give to them. i deal with the homeless on my job on a nightly basis. they try to sneak in the buildings and sleep in the bathrooms. they also sleep on the grass all the time. i have to kick them out all the time because they were too lazy to make it to the shelter on time. i really hate it when they play the disabled veteran card... i too am a disabled veteran and i have a job and will always have a job unless i hit the lotto. these guys just don't want to work.
