What do you do when homeless people ask you for money?

i keep like 5 bucks in quarters in my pocked and when they ask throw them up in the air going ding ding ding and making all kinds of noises like a slot machine and the quarters bounce all over the groung and thier eyes light up

I'm a total sucker if this involves people with kids tagging along. I always take them into a resturant and make sure they ALL are fed.

I NEVER hand out money on the street. I have to know their story first....

I used to give them money several years ago, then my wife informed me that I worked too hard to give money away to someone who doesn`t` try to help themselves first. So no more handouts to people w/ please give signs.

i am pretty sympathetic to homeless people with animals.

however, i go to whatever local store and buy a shitload of dog food for the animal.


but the abundance of crackheads here makes you assume that nearly every homeless person is a crackhead or at least an alcoholic.
hence why it becomes interesting to challenge them a little. most people either ignore them completely and pretend like they're not around or just give them money to go away
