WHAT are you and WHY?

I threw shot in highschool. It definitely requires some explosion, that's for sure.
That's the only way I made it on the Track & Field team in Jr. High! The big Samoan girls put me to shame at the meets though...oh well!:)

JMO but never did like the pound for pound excuse. Overall strength is all that matters to me.
???

Pound for pound excuse? Tell me, what is more "impressive"--

a 150 # guy who DL 500 lbs
-or-
a 250 # guy who DL 500 lbs

Frankly, pound for pound does matter (at least to me) or why would they have weight classes in boxing, MMA, wrestling, OL, BB, PL, etc, etc?

I'm kinda a dick who loves to train. I'm fortunate to have the opportunity to train with some phenominal bodybuilders. I started lifting hard with the desire to change my body composition. After I started to notice changes I set a few goals.

First I wanted to see a vein in my arm. Not an unrealistic goal. Then I wanted to see a vein in my leg. Again not unrealistic.
Now I want to se the veins in my abs. Like that's gonna happen.

I train to fight. Because first and foremost I am a fighter. However, I believe that due to the compulsive nature of my person it will not be long until I am training to be a full fleged body builder.

I'm a sick, sick, man. I want the world and I will not compromise. I train to win.... because there is no other way. So I guess it all comes down the the fact that I'm a strength training body builder. Does that work?

The guy who picked it up the fastest would be most impressive to me....

With females it is different IMO, but with guys it doesn't matter. I rather be big and strong, I would hate to be 150lbs and have same strength (although, i'm sure, it would be great in competition).

They obviously have different weight classes because they see the bigger weight to have a better advantage ... I like that advantage and I will make it work for me.

I have to admit, it is motivating to see a 150lbs guy pull a 500deadlift, but I really don't wanna be that guy (no offense to anyone).

Also, take into account height. Height to weight ratio matters a lot, I am refering to someone my height (6'3+) when I bring up the 150lbs. Obviously, 150lbs is pretty damn big for someone who is 5'0. So it is all relative ...
