heavy only

I've been ridin for years but this thing has got to go. Six of my buds have gone down over the last few months, only one was drunk. The other five just got run-the-fuck-over by some blind MF's. One of them lost an arm and leg, another lost a leg, one lost his left eye (yuk), etc...

I don't know man, I mean, I finally got my quads to look big. I'd hate to have to carry the fukin things around in my hand.

The exact same reason I stopped riding, drivers are total morons. You can be the best on a bike but eventually some old lady will pull out in front of you and lights out.

I can't fault you for your decision, but I also don't support it. Shit happens bro, you don't have to be drunk to be riding like an ass!!! I don't know your friends situations, but how many times have you heard guys that went down say "Oh, I wasn't riding hard at all!!!".......than it turns out they were trying to lean their hogs into a fast turn that would stand the neck hairs of a seasoned sportbike rider. Again, I can't say anything for what happened to your friends, they may very well have been riding safe, but I'm just saying that the VAST majority of bike accidents are from dudes not respecting their machines........and I can personally lay claim to that mistake myself.

I wish you luck man, but I hate that you're selling
your ride. People get hurt in cars all the time, so would
you sell your car if your buddies were driving cars when
they got hurt?

I do know what you're going through, a friend of mine
lost her husband when someone pulled out in front of him.
For the longest time I wouldn't ride my bike around her,
it just made me feel bad. Finally she reminded me how much her husband enjoyed his bikes, and that the bike didn't kill him,
it was the other driver.

At first I got my bike because I thought it would be "cool".......but since than I've learned a VERY valuable lesson....it aint' a hobby, it's a lifestyle. I've got a friend who I think bought a hog just for the sake of saying he's got a Harley. Rode it alot when he first got it, now he rides every now and than, he's moved on to other things. When the thing breaks down he puts into the shop, doesn't even consider getting his fingernails dirty...........now me, I've got mine torn apart in my garage and am getting ready to do some major stuff to it, there's just a difference between some people. If I gotta go I can't think of anything I'd rather be on than my bike!!

Sorry to hear about your buddys. But Its all on how you ride. I make sure I ride very carefull and pay attention to all cars. Hell I don't even have mirrors on my bike. I only ride in good weather and never in big city traffic.
I'm sorta like BigPhysics I like tear em apart and rebuilding them just as much as ridding.

But at least I got a great deal cause the guy I bought mine from was just like you.

Damn brah, totally understandable. I still won't sell my baybee. That's why I got some loud ass pipes, you may not see me comin but you'll definetaly hear me.
