I say what will make it gay is the license they took w/ the Hulk. I'm pretty sure in the comic book he wasn't 10ft tall, nor could he fly, nor could he toss tanks around like they were tetherballs.
Of course no comic book movie is completely faithful, but at least get the main character's abilities right, sheesh.

You never read the comic.

One day they will be able to get the lighting down pat to make CGI animates look real. That's the whole reason he doesn't look real is because of the lighting on him.

I think that they'll also have to make vast improvements in the way CGI characters move and the way they make contact with the physical surroundings (Jar Jar Binks in Star Wars, for example- he looked like he was walking on air instead of the ground.)

I watched it. It was ok. Somehow I think this is a movie you could get more into if you were high. You kinda forget the the bad CG after you watch it for a while. There were some mutant dogs in the movie that looked even worse the the hulk. Bad jerking animation. Seriously often the hulk looks like something outta clash of the titans.

The Jurassic Park series seemed to get it right, maybe others need to follow their lead. They probably had the most realistic CGI I have seen to date.Very detailed and realistic looking.

.....You're crazy Huck..Those were real dinosaurs..Duh.

Actually, that's what happens in the comic. He becomes the Hulk when exposed to gamma radiation in a botched experiment, and then the military is always hounding his ass.

In the comic, Betty was fucking hot, too. They did an excellent job of giving Jennifer Connelly that role. Totally unlike Kirsten Dunst in "Spiderman". She was no freaking Mary Jane. Mary Jane was a damn superdupermodel in the comic. Kirsten Dunst was so fucking much of a let-down.

I need to calm the fuck down right now.

It didn't look great from what I saw but not as bad as many may think. They should have either used a bodybuilder or just make the whole thing CG like Final Fantasy. It just don't look right.

That's what I was afraid. Sometimes CGI just doesn't look right.

P.S. Jessica Rabbit is HOT :spatts:

You play patty-cake with her if you want...I would rather play sit-n-spin. To each their own...

I don't know if I'd pay $9 to see it. Movies are $8 here, $7 with college ID which I still show eventhough I graduated in '97. :) It was ok and kinda had the feel of the TV show after he became the hulk which took too long BTW. He didn't get hit with Gamma rays until 45 mins into the movie. They went too much on with a story about his father that had nothing to do with comic book. It was still cool at a few parts. Unless you were a die hard Hulk fan I'd probably wait until DVD. I'd give it a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10.

his father was dead when banner became the hulk. the comic did portray him as abusive to banner as a child, thus part of the inner rage that banner has always struggled with.
