waxing rash

i can handle the pain, but last time i tried sugaring my back it left red bumps for a month and the sugaring was spotty on the hair removal.

if i tried waxing, would i get the same rash??

any way to avoid this? if i could reach my back to shave it i would, or find a place with guaranteed results from the laser.....
