I think i had a panic attack last night but I dont know, I started feeling real irritated, scared, just felt wierd like my legs were getting warm then i felt like i was going to die, I was fixin to drive myself to the hospital but i took a valium and went to bed. Man it was awful. It kept coming on harder and harder, I thought i was dying that was going through my head

yes i did all the above, my heart was pounding, and my palms were sweating, i thought kinda like i was going to hyperventalate, I coulnt sit still I kept having to go outside a walk around to kepp from thinking about it

yep sure sounds like one to me..check this shit out....i was on a flight (this is before i knew that i was having panic attacks...i thought it was a heart problem).to ariz from LA...mid way through the flight i got one of these nasty f*ckers....i got up right away and asked the stewardess for an aspirin to chew on and a paper bag to breathe in...i thought i was having a major heart attack...she said they couldnt turn back the plane due it being 1/2 there already...i thought when this fucking plane lands i will be dead on the floor...well i calmed down a bit and we landed..i told her my party would take me to the hospital....as i walked to the car awaiting me i had another one so i just ran to the car and was rushed to the hospital....a shit load of heart tests and it showed nothing...this was maybe my 6th attack at this point and prior to the this one i had every single heart test done...so when i got back from az i fired my doc, felt like breaking his fucking neck...i took on a new doc who is a blessing...took a few minutes of reading my records to tell me i am having panic attacks...put me on paxil that day and never had one since..

will they ever go away or will they stay if i dont take meds. When you had yours did you feel warm inside before they started, I dont think i could have made that flight. I would have jumped or beat the pilot. My wife thinks im weird

I had a similar problem with Panik attacks ever since I started gear. I have learned to deal with it alot better now. Talking with people really helps as well as I have been on a vitamin shedule that has really helped reducemy panik attacks. It may not work on everyone but it has made a world of diffrance for me. When you feel on come on just relax and tell your self you are going to be fine (cause you are) and just take deep breaths. Your mind can be a very powerful thing and I know how shitty these things can make you feel. If you need to talk about it or would like any help just shoot me an e-mail, PM or on ICQ and I would love to help you.

yes i felt warm and to try and answer your question...i dont know you to say...some people get panic attacks to a chemmical imbalance in the brain and please remember this...its nothing to be ashamed of..if your a diabetic you take insulin...if you have high BP you take meds for it...same goes for having a chem imbal....

now it could also be caused by a sudden major stress in your life...family , work ect...

if they continue and you dont think its due to any current stress in your life then i think you should speak to a doctor..panic attacks are very serious to the point you are afraid to leave the house....if you do happen to get on lets say paxil please monitor yourself and if you think you can get by without them , do so because the longer your on the harder it is to get off them....

in some cases people will be on for the rest of your life.

yes and talk to gary wary about inisitol....im using it right now and no meds for over two weeks now....so far so good

M.O.D, I am a little confused. Does Paxil ulter the chemicle inbalance in your brain so that the panik attacks don't ever come back or does it just compesate for them and when you come off the attacks come back ?
