The Olympia Weekend and FLEX Magazine are proud to announce the 2008 FLEX Magazine’s Bikini Model Search brought to you by Muscletech and Bodybuilding.com. The contest will be held at the Olympia Expo at the Las Vegas Convention Center South Hall on Friday, September 26 (Judging) and Saturday, September 27 (Finals). The winner of the model search will receive an exclusive modeling contract with Weider Publications, LLC and will appear in the pages of FLEX Magazine.

Contestants will be judged on shape, tone, symmetry, poise and overall beauty. Contestants will be judged individually and in group comparisons. The purpose is to have fun with the audience and exhibit a charismatic stage presence and overall appearance.

You must be 18 years or older to enter. No experience necessary.

JUDGING CRITERIA

Body Condition & Overall Beauty – 50% of Score
Judges will be looking for fit, feminine contestants who display proper shape, symmetry and poise combined with overall condition and beauty. This is not a bodybuilding contest, so extreme muscularity will be negatively scored.

State Presence & Personality – 40% of Score
Contestants will be asked to walk in a bikini and high heels across the stage. It is important to mention that two-piece swimsuits are required. Thongs or G-Strings are not acceptable. No lewd acts will be allowed. Contestants will be asked to turn and pose at each corner and again at the center of the stage. Judges will be looking for the competitor with the best stage presence and who can successfully convey her personally to the audience.

Audience Popularity – 10% of Score
The goal is to be charming and charismatic, and to incite audience participation. The competition should be fun

PRIZES

Winner
Exclusive modeling contract with Weider Publications, LLC
Two (2) VIP Tickets to the 2009 Olympia Weekend
Appear in the pages of FLEX Magazine
Award Presenter at the 2008 Mr. Olympia Finals

LOL argreed HH MD has a colum called Majour distraction that features fitness, figure and FBB. I know they held a contest at the arnold this year for it but not sure how else it is picked on a regular bases. Anyways something for you to look into.

as a competitor you should appreciate the fairness in my statement, I didn't say you aren't looking good.

I supported someone from my country who I really really really thought was deserving of it.. doesn't mean I think any less of you..

if you think that makes me a dillweed then whatever, I'm just trying to keep the competition fair I'm sure they all work just as hard some maybe harder.

and I bet not all of them have a forum where they can advertise and pull in votes, but I'm sure alot of people do use this tactic.

Oh well, I did what I did, it's done and I upheld my ethical and moral standards. :p

oh my...i wasn't intended for all the literalness. you know me on the boards.

and a competition like that is about getting votes. so those of us who ARE competitive will certainly do what we can to market ourselves to get votes. i think that's a no brainer. in fact, if it weren't for me....you'd never known of the competition in the first place....or the girl in your neck of the woods.

it's the point of the matter.

Whatever all I'm saying is this seems pretty important, and could really help a person out, I just think the person who deserves to win it, looks the part etc etc whatever should get the part.

I don't know you period on the board or not lady is what I'm saying, I don't like you, cause I don't know you enough to like you, I don't dislike you either.

So I voted based on who I thought should win it.
