visual disturbances from clomid? what to expect?

just curious what they may be. i'm on clomid now and not sure if i'm having visual problems. once in awhile i'll notice alittle light flicker off in my peripheral vision, look to it and it's nothing. it's like the size of a pin head (like if you rub you eyes hard and then you see all those little spots, like that but it is 1 small one off to the side). i'm pretty sure i've experienced them before the clomid, but i am still curious what the visual disturbances are like.

also, are the visual disturbances permanent?

The only side effect I have had from clomid is slightly blurred vision....but then again my vision is pretty bad already...

I got them too, about 5% of clomid users will get them. They will go away in a few weeks after discontinuing clomid, but for the future you should switch to nolva, just to be safe... Here's what the PDR says:
"Ophthalmologic: Blurred vision, spots, or flashes, probably due to intensification of after images. Although cause and effect have not been established, the following have been noted in users of clomiphene: posterior capsular cataract, detachment of the posterior vitreous, spasm of retinal arteriole, and thrombosis of temporal arteries of retina. "

Let's not forget...

The cool night time light show. This is the side feects for me as far as vision, but it only happens at night or in dark surroundings.

Be careful when you drive at night. I get tracers pretty bad when on clomid and driving at night.

i got the tracers too.. nothing too bad tho.

I get tracers and a bad headache... you may want to take the clomid right before you go to bed if you get the visual disturbances. This really helps with dealing with this side effect.

You may also want to consider switching to nolvadex for post cycle therapy instead of clomid.

did the blurriness go away after stopping clomid? how long?

i usually get little spots popping up out of nowhere then dissapearing. It feels like your seeing things then you go to look and nothing is there....SPOOKY clomid
