Viruses, anti-virus, spyware, etc. advice?

Any advice to get rid of some wacky chinese looking stuff that's been popping up for the past few weeks in my history file would be appreciated. I hear the clicking sounds as if I'm surfing websites, but nothing visual is happening. I go to my "history" file and it looks like I was at www. 188flash. com or www. lovep2p. com which seems to be chinese or some other weird looking crap...
Panda isn't catching anything, nor, Ad-ware, AVG, Avast!, or Counterspy....
( I quarantined a bunch of other stuff, but this bastard chinese looking stuff is still going strong...)

Time to pull out the big guns - Rootkit Revealer, Sysinternals Autoruns, IceSword, Reanimator, HiJackThis.

I'd also boot the damn thing from a rescue kit so you're looking at the disk through an uncorrupted OS.

If you hit ctrl-alt-delete, can you get the Task Manager window to open? If not, you've got something that will have to be dug out in Safe Mode.

If you can get to the web, find the instructions for running HijackThis and submitting the results for a free analysis. (It's free software supported by a team of people who give free support -- do not fall for anyone who tries to charge you for either. Follow their instructions and refrain from wasting their time; that's all they ask.)

yeah take Diggers advice.
Also, go into C:\windows\system32\ and arange icons by 'modified'
scroll all the way down to the bottom, post all the files names after "wuapi.dll"
It's most likely malware/virus files.
Trendmicro.com/downloads get the AV+spyware scanner, it's free and it's a 9.5/10 in my book

Those are all new to me other than HiJackThis

Haven't had many spyware issues at work, mainly server and firewall maintenance
