Well, don't the people that hunt animals actually eat their meat? Although, I am certain that people eat dog meat too....

If they electrocuted the dogs, wasn't that a relatively swift death? Drowning sounds bad but how else would you dispose of the animals quickly and without a firearm? You think these guys would have just shot them in the head to make it quick.

As I said, I don't think that it is a GOOD thing that there are people who do this sort of thing to animals but in the grand scheme of things I can think of far worse things that happen to innocent HUMANS all the time and nobody really gives a fat rat's ass, matter of fact some board members LAUGH at the suffering of HUMANS so the board will forgive me if I dont shed too many tears.

I suppose that I just dont have the luxury of caring too much about animals right now....

Large bears can take shots from a high powered rifle and still live.

people go to jail for poaching, not because its inhumane, but because it increases the risk of the population of the animal being poached dropping to dangerous levels.

Again, I'm not arguing that what Vick did should be legal, I'm arguing that it is not deserving of prison time.
