This is a post from a newbie over a forum not related at all with fitness or bodybuilding. The guy was ordering Jintropin HGH overseas through a website. This is his post:

"Good news and bad news. I received a note from the post office on my door on Jan 9th that I had a package at the post office to pick up from Great Britain. So first thing in the morning on the 10th I go to the post office and pick up my package, I get it and look at the post marks and it was sent out on the day elitenet said it was. So great I'm thinking it got lost in the holiday mail. So I'm driving home and get a couple of miles away from the post office and I get pulled over by a sheriffs officer and behind him are 2 unmarked cars. So I'm thinking I cut someone off and they called the police. So I asked the officer what was wrong and he said I was speeding and right there I knew something was up because I was not speeding. The officer takes my license and goes back to his car and gives it to one of the other guys who comes up to the passenger side and gets in the truck with me. The box I had picked up was on the front seat. He said to me looking at the box "you know what this is about" and said lets go back to the police station and talk about it. He got in the truck with me and we drove to the police station, he read me my rights and either I gave a statement of what happened and where and how I got it or I was going to be locked up. They had my house staked out I believe for at least a week because he was telling me about people who had been to my house and what kind of vehicles they drove. I know it was at least a week because one person had not been to my house for at least a week. I also believe they have been in my house because there were somethings on my computer that were different but that I do not know for sure. Anyway the 2 other guys that were with the sheriffs officer that pulled me over 1 was with the sheriffs narcotics division and the other was DEA. They had had the post office staked out waiting for me. They had opened the package and knew what was inside. I am waiting to hear from the District Attorneys office if there are going to be any charges filed. I don't have an attorney yet and will wait to hear from the DA. Apparently it is illegal to order from overseas. I did not know that...

P.S. Although the name of the website has the word "Elite" in it, is has no relation at all with Elitefitness so don't get confused. lol
 
Interesting, especially where you say they were in your house in your computer w/o presenting you a warrant. DEA NEVER EVER EVER works like that. Another thing, if you think they were on your computer, why in the world would you post that here, they obviously saw EF on the computer and now read that post, and probably all of your other posts. Even if this is all true, I don't think you are looking at anything major, just a little fish in a big ocean I presume, or I hope

you never know how they will get you. With all the changes lately....seems like the government is trying to give USPS more power to act without warrants over packages. All supposed to protect us from terrorism... :rolleyes: ...meanwhile, nukes are being smuggled accross the border. terrorism, yeah right!
 
wow!!! they might have been on his computer......wow!!! I hope the dude said nothing in the car without a lawyer present. I could already see that they were trying to hustle him in his truck. Fucking piggies............tis why I am to canada. All that woohoo for a box of HGH......fuck
 
1. they prolly hacked into his computer-hence how they got the info
2. i doubt they would go thru that much cop work and surveliance for a personal stash of gear..... just not worth the DEA's time and man power for a months worth of work to get some prop and winny caps (not the issue here but you get the point)
3. goes to show that you be very hesitant in going to the p.o. to get mail after the mailman doesnt just drop it off.
4. its the risk you take with ordering overseas
 
OH NO, you mean i may get in trouble for mail ordering steroids from overseas???? WHAT, i may get popped when i pick up my package???? OH MY GOD the feds hacked my computer???? like you guys dont know this shit and still take the risk.This is nothing new.
 
I don't think it's the fact that this is something new.. Its always been a risk and always will. The main point is the fact that they " our government" makes such a big deal about AAS. I mean I think that their are more importnant things are govt could spend it's time, money, resources on the catching people who use AAS for personal use...
 
Bigdaddy, a fellow tennessean. I just heard that we have a surplus of about 80 million in the lottery system that the gov. said would be used for the school systems. It blows my mind when the government does the right thing. So out of the ordinary.

Exactly. Or imagine instead of spending these resources over Americans, using these agents to protect the border and prosecute illegal immigrants; only in the state of California the total cost for illegal immigration during 2005 was 10.5 BILLIONS.

The other point is, is the first time I hear about a setup like that...usually a controlled delivery is straight to your house, catching you when you agree and recognize that the package is yours. In this case, they were waiting for the dude at the postal office.
 
Dj_ufo you def know about immigration problems... LOL.. They are slowly making their way up here.. If that was the case that they staked out the post office, just imagine the money they spent paying to have an officer sit their for all that time and eat doughnuts.. MONEY and TIME WAISTED!!!! For some GH???
 
Either he was ordering LARGE amounts for resale, or someone narc'd him off. It's strange that they would be staking him out for a week or two before the incident. They must of somehow had the package tracked too. Just seems odd that they would go through so much trouble for a personal stash.
 
The bad news is the cops and post office can now search ANY package they want - for no reason at all thanks to President Bush. They likely are putting up scanners in most post offices as we speak and any vials or pills will be opened and the person ordering them busted.
 
he's referring to elitenetpharmacy.com -- they sell shit pretty cheap, but no longer take american customers
 
This sound like small town BS too much enforcement not enough crime. In any major city they would not have spent more than two days on this.

That or the guy was making some major noise dealing AAS...

Thanks god here in Canada we don't have that problem. Cops could not care less if you got juice, as long as you are not making big noise in dealing.

Total BS for a prescription drug like HGH..
 
There are too many holes in this story. He could have been selling crack or slinging on the side if anything. Somebody could have narc'd him out if he was in fact selling, etc. The story with the cop pulling him over and taking him in just by looking at a piece of mail doesn't seem right.

If they were gonna arrest him due to a hot package, then they would not have any need to say they pulled him over for speeding.

This whole thing doesn't make sense to me.

an old friend of mine was selling coke and after he did a deal a patrol car pulled him over and then a unmarked pulled in front of him and said they had someone who narc'd him out and they had been watching him sell. it is possible, i dont call b.s at all a lot of small time users/buyers will roll on their dealer in hopes that if they roll on someone bigger they keep their butt out of jail, sucks but its the truth. take it like a man and take responsibility for your own actions never EVER Narc on someone. why ruin someone else life cuz you lost on a roll of the dice

I think you got it, small town cops make big deals about nothing to get their face in the weekly gazette. Just recently here in bumfuck, Tennessee a lady got arrested in the school principal's office for saying " bullshit". They called the police, there were two officers parked outside, came in and cuffed her and took her to jail! There was a B & E in my neighborhood, and the cops thought the guy was hiding in my basement and asked to search my house. I said hell no and they were pissed! They are barely minimum wage and not required to attend the academy, believe me, they live to start trouble. Our local dept. has nothing better to do than stake out the post office from the donut shop accross the street.
 
They just will not waste their time for a measely little GH shipment. The time they were putting into it by staking him out with DEA and everything leads me to believe that there is stuff missing from the story or it is just somebody like LE on the boards trying to scare everybody. If they put this much attention into the whole thing, they would not have pulled him over for a speeding ticket. They would not have to use that as an excuse. Since GH can also be seen as a gray area in some instances, they would have just waited until they had more on the guy, if DEA was involved. Staking out somebody for weeks over a GH order does not add up.

Maybe i'm missing something here though....god knows the damn government/law enforcement can be really f'd at times....so I guess anything is possible.

Mr Big mama's jugs (according to vet/mod PLINT)...jk..... don't make the mistake of thinking LE thinks with logical precision like CSI Miami. My local morons wouldn't know GH from cocaine. DEA would be formidable in any area of the country, I would think. But smalltown cops are scary stupid, for the most part.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the whole CSI thing....we'll never know for sure I guess.

Bingo. I didn't want to name the site here but that one is it.

And I agree with BRR. Only in a small town the greasy piggies have enough time ro make a big deal for nothing. And/or the guy was buying large quantities to deal domestic.

Anyhow, the government is protecting us from terrorism... :rolleyes: I'm tired of that shit!
