The reason being that I am staying with my mom and she is in the medical field. I don't want to send any flags her way. If a signiture is required....Will they let my buddy sign for it? Thanks bro!
nah, they leave it in your mailbox. its like a normal UK package sent airmail....it has the green "declaration" on it though that states "medicine" or something to that effect. but they always leave it in my mailbox. if it was my moms mailbox and she saw medicine or shit like that, there would be trouble though. lol. don't worry about it, unless there is some fluke thing happen....they just drop it off like normal airmail.

I guess they were having some problems with their website. Therefore, I had to re-email my info to her. I waited a week and emailed her again. She apologized and said that since their problems occured they started processing their credit cards different and that is why there is the long delay. She said that my package went out last Friday. I live in Indiana. I hope that the package didn't go through JFK and get fucked with! Where do you live and how long does it take for your packages to arrive? If you want....drop me an email or PM so that we don't interupt this important trend. LOL! Thanks!

(The question asked is it normal to be asked for a signature)
It's regulation for the Postal Service to still attempt to get some form of signature, even if waived, for confirmation.
HOWEVER - this does not happen in all locations. Some will use the drop box described above, and others will just hand you the pack and say "Have a nice day."
As I have warned in the past MBE is about the worst mistake you can make.
BUT THERE IS NO SIG REQUIRED FOR USPS PRIORITY MAIL BASIC SERVICE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. i drop priority mail in the basic mailbox on the corner if it weighs under 16 oz. please note TYPE of service when giving advice about sig required. the original author never stated registered/next day/basic/priority or anything. and everyone is commenting.Richard_Riddick said:
Basicly I'm telling you, it is regulation to be asked for a signature, no matter what. Some carriers are just more lax than others.

The mail man bring my pakage to the door and gives me a pen to sign for the package. I said, no fuckin way, i'm signing for anything. he said you always had to sign for Express mail. I said take it back but i ain't signing.
He took the package to his car and then came back said " sorry, didn't see the signature was supposed to be waived off. "
I took the package and put it outside my house. The mere fact he wanted me to sign and then just handed me the package without signature got me suspicious and i didn't wanna take any chances.
After about a day, when i was more convinced and relaxed, it was all good, i took the package and went in the house.
So far, its all good.
