Ok i had a bad shoulder injury was out for 3 years and the quack doc didnt fix it right after surgery so now my incline is suffering! If you click my gallery you can get some idea what i am talking about. My old lady says my chest looks like a tit growing when its relaxed, mostly from lack of my old thick upper chest i once had. Now i can do flat, and the next incline position up which is like a foot but any higher and i am in bad shoulder pain... :worried:
Now i can do some inclines(foot up one) but no real weight with out pain. But when i try heavyer i have to take off 4 days just to beable to put weight on it again.
So is there any other excerises i can try for my upper chest to see if it will affect my shoulder? I am out of ideas other then suck up the pain and wait for it to give out again for good. Not a good option. So any ideas would be appericated...When you start get results smaller things start to matter more... ;)

your incline only needs to be set between 10% - 30% not very much at all, give it a go. :)

if you hurt it 3 years ago and it still hurts, it's serious. i fucked up my RC and obviously my incline suffered and i just stopped doing it all together. I started doing awesome shoulder and rc recovery exercises and now i'm back to repping 225 on the incline. The exercises is what helped me. i guess you could just take ibuprofen a half hour before hand or get a cortizone shot - though they will just mask the problem and could make it worse. I guess you should ask yourself if short term goals are more important or longterm. try using dumbells instead of a barbell because they allow a better range of motion and accuratly target better. maybe switch the incline too or do close grips instead of medium grip.

what does your bar path look like. where do you lower to? do you flare your elbows when you press or are they tucked a bit?
