The bit about "he didn't create alters until he was banned". What is the point of tossing someone out if he's going to turn around and walk right back in like nothing happened? What kind of "timeout" is that?

its not a good timeout, that was stupid on his part. but im just saying perkele said the original reason he was banned is cause he creates alters, and im just trying to point out that the only reason he created the alters was because he was banned... im not trying to tell the mods what happened, since they obviously know more about it than i do, im just trying to inform the other members who would cast judgements, because of the whole alter scares that are going around.

MM, if you tell me he didn't get to you, I'm willing to take that into consideration; but it's not just about him dissing you.

I am royally pissed off at the people saying "it's just words" or "you're a pussy if you let words get to you." Hey! Over here, guys. If words don't matter to you, why are you here? This place is all about words. Words are how you put an idea in someone's head, and the idea that Ulcaster tried to put in MM's head was evil.

What kind of sick fuck uses the things you care about against you? You think UC should come back, I need a good answer to that question.

i think a constant harrasment IS a problem.



musclemuscle is one of the regulars here, and frequently jokes around with other memebers, so i think ulcaster thought that MM could take a joke. i dont think ulcaster did it to be truley evil, but more portray a character of sinisteria (not sure thats the right word), to someone he thought has thick enough skin to take it, or even find humor in it.


some might say this is irrelevent, but i think it needs to be said.
im one of many arabs/mideasterners who post here, and im also muslim on my birht certificate (i say that because im not sure what i personally believe).

there have been so many threads with people saying things about how arabs are evil, and islam is an evil and violent religion. if someone speaks up about knowing good muslims and arabs, they are told that they arnt REAL muslims and arabs, because real ones hate americans and are evil. well im sorry, but thats increadibly STUPID and ignorant, and i, being a lebanese american, and going over to the mideast many times, know that these people are no more hateful or prejudice (and probably alot less so,) than most americans i have come into contact with.

i hate to name names, but curling is one of the people who constantly says that kind of stuff, yet he is still here. curling truley believes this, and doesnt take into consideration people who might take offense to these comments, but ulcaster, who was trying to be funny, gets banned for talking about strangling a dog that hes never EVER going to probably be within 100 miles of?

im not saying to ban curling, but im saying that i say its easy to ignore words, because i do it all the time. i sit and read people insulting my background, my families religion,. i let them have their views, and say what they wanna chat and converse about, and in turn, understand that i too, at any time, can speak my mind.

meh, there was a bit more harshness to it than would be normally acceptable, but, in my opinion i dont see how it can be any worse than "having sex with your mom" jokes. and muscle muscle started confrontation with him, and ulcaster was just trying to have fun with it, even though his sense of humor is a bit twisted (but then again so is mine.)

i dont see ulcaster going up to innocent people who never get invovled in drama like sassy, or bunny from girlchat, and saying horrible things to them...he only does it to people he feels might see some fun in it.

also i find it pretty shady, how EVERYONE jumps on ulcaster for his comment,

This has happened a few times in the past. The suspensions, timeouts, what have you. The people who recieve them typically adjust and move on. UD has had a couple and was walking that chalk line but he'd stumble occasionally. He's also been the butt end of long running, embarrasing threads about him. Which, he's handled pretty well. I think a lot of the time he gets pushed, by the same type of words he has used, and lashes out. He's only in his mid 20's, which is still way young nowadays, so hopefully the coming maturity will also bring some restraint.

Not to mention being the recipient of a lot of unsolicited advice...

including by me. people make mistakes, and cross lines, and it isnt always on purpose...

i made that thread about "who would lose their virginity first"...ulcaster didnt find it very funny that i included him and he got mad at me and said something in retaliation to me, and you know what i did?

i typed out a huge message telling him to "Grow the fuck up, and learn to take a joke", but i never sent that message, because i wanted to keep it on a joking level, like i always have on C&C. if i hurt someones feelings, i say sorry, thats how i am. if i HAD sent that, i would have turned my original joke into more of an attack


if your trying to look at ulcaster and MM's confrontation in a non joking light, then you can say

MM was bombing ulcaster alot, and ulcaster got mad and said something harsh to him, (which i still think had a twist of humor). MM didnt like it, and told ulcaster off in response to it. ulcaster then responds back to him with another harsh statement.

ulcaster couldnt step back like i did, and consider that he should try and realize that his joke might have offended someone, and instead of meeting the response with an apology, like i stepped back and did, he instead followed impulse and attacked him right back, making his original joke seem like an intentional attack.
again, this is exactly what i was about to do, when i got into that confrontation with ulcaster. i was about to attack him for taking offense, but i pulled away.

now if ulcaster is banned because he does not have this tact required to pull back and consider ones words, then MM should be banned too, for not being able to handle the concequences of his recreational bombings.

I'm not real happy with "recreational bombings" -- and before Lestat jumps in here with yet another comment about it being harmless teasing, save it, nugga. I got an unopened box full of that. You want to know who the bombs have driven off the site, we're talking about him right here.

Got a relative newbie Plat, riding people for debateable reasons, and he runs into someone who doesn't handle it well. He figures he paid for the privilege, and at some level that is what the Plat membership is all about: pony up some bucks, get an unfair advantage.

But the other guy is still making really disturbing word-pictures. Going nuclear.

We had a guy here who started threads about raping another guy's kids; remember that? I took him out back with the shotgun and a shovel. Couple of people said "It's just an Internet board, it's just a joke." Not many, not very loud, not at all convincing.

Honestly, I really am befuddled at the way you guys are jumping to his defense. Where is this coming from?
