Tyra Banks = fat

Just a bad picture. She is 160lbs at 5' 10" . That isn't model skinny, but doesn't seem fat to me.

Tyra's porked out a bit it happens (I know EF people never ever gain or lose too much weight).

Unfortunately for her, putting on some weight is not what is unattractive about her - skinny, fit or fat - she's less than tolerable.

She was 130 when she modeled and 160 now. While she isn't skinny anymore, I have seen her in other things and she isn't fat either. She is a bit thick, is all.
 
one of my friends is 145 at 5'10" and looks skinny, therefore a) tyra is not 5'10" and b) that's more than 160 lbs c) that's not "thick" it's "fat".
but she can afford to lose it whenever she wants so it's not like anyone cares....
 
it's all relative. in her world, they have different standards. that's all. if you saw her in reali life, you wouldnt think she was "fat". the end.

Not necessarily..my GF is 5' 8" or 9" and 115-120lbs and she has a smokin dancers body.

lean, toned and curves in the right places, actual weight doesnt really matter that much, it's where you have it.

I'm 5'3" dont weigh myself much unless I feel I am losing too much weight. A safe estimate of my weight is 125#. I wear children's clothing size 12/14 and anywhere between size 0 and 6 - 2/4 is the norm for me.

The last two pics of Tyra are very attractive but the pics of her in that one piece bathing suit are GHASTLY. I've never watched her talk show or top model so I will have to take everyone's word that she is less than intelligent and beautiful on the inside.

I am not kidding. Because of my pettite frame and stature (or lack thereof) I fit into children's clothing size 12/14.

Just pointing out that the number on the scale is not necessarily indicative of one's level of "fatness". :)

I agree. I'm 240 pounds at 5'10", obesity level II, I qualify for medical intervention. I wonder if I could get a handicap sticker?
 
any disagreement over whether or not she's fat or not is probably pointless. just like a million other things, there is no universally-accepted definition of fat. if someone calls her fat, and you say that she isn't, it means nothing except that your idea of fat is different. furthermore, there are different degrees of fatness. no one's comparing her to rosie o'donnell or some random, 400-lb heiferbeast.

it's all relative, in more than one way: her appearance relative to others...and her appearance relative to her former self.

Just saw the cover of People that she's on at 160 - and she looks like every other slightly thick black woman in a bathing suit. Basically to the point where you wouldn't look again if she walked by. After experiencing the model infautation maybe it's nice to have anonymity.

Again it depends on how you carry it and how much of it is muscle.

I dated a girl who was a volley ball player who was 5' 11" and 160lbs also and she looked lean and fit.

Tyra banks in this pic is fat, not thick and I'll bet you anything she weighs more than 160lb, for her body to look like that and be 5' 11", I bet she is closer to 200lbs.
