training on low-carb diet

yeah yeah, i know swaining is the in-thing on the training board right now, but i have 2 weeks till classes start (and freshmen girlies arrive).. so i'm doing a low-carb diet from now till then. my plan is basically just to have some carbs in the morning, and perhaps some juice before my workout (i do HIT basically) followed by 70gms dextrose PW. so im going for less than 200 grams of carbs a day. yesterday was my first day on it, and i felt like death, but today i feel more alert than usual (i'd been bulking bigtime before this).

anyway, should i do any of my training differently? im afraid i wont be able to give 110% at the gym today, being carb-deprived and all.. what do you all do to keep the intensity up when you are on a low-carb diet?

how many carbs do you normally eat, just to maintain. Cut that down a little to an area where you feel comfortable at, and a little more as long as yuo can take it. 2 weeks is a short amount of time. Shoulda thought of this last month =). Besides, the freshman will be easy anyway, unless you have a monster gut dont worry.

i really wasnt keeping track of amount of carbs before, but i was eating large amounts of oats, brown rice, and pasta every day. i can see my abs, when i flex em. thats why im hoping this pseudo-ckd diet will get me down to where i want to go in terms of bodyfat. i guess i'll find out soon enough.

if a ckd works for you, 1-2% is feasible in 2 weeks. but dont expect any more than that
