Those over 6'2"

Hey fellas just wanted to see some stats on those over 6'2" and how many calories you take in.

My stats are 6'5" 250 aprox 10%BF I take in between 5000 - 5500 calories a day. I can't find enough time in the day to eat any more food. If you're over that please tell me how. Thanx.....Supertech
 
just over 6'3" and the biggest problem I have is clean caloric intake when I cycle.....I eat 5 meals a day and supplement with a weight gainer drink here and there.....it is a bitch when you are tall to keep/gain mass.
 
6'2" 228 at about 11% bf. I have no idea how many calories I eat. I just try to eat as much protein as possible, which I'd estimate around 250 grams per day.
 
I am 38, 6'4", 275lbs, and approx 12% BF. I have an office job and I bring a lot of food to my office every day. Yes, it is very difficult to eat enough clean food to maintain the mass and just as hard to gain mass. Even at 275, I think I still look small. Other people comment on my size, but I see a tall, skinny guy in the mirror. I would like to know how other tall guys, like Hulk Hogan, have managed to put on mass.
 
6'2" 243

i eat a big breakfast, like pasta or steak and have small meals every 2 hours. i watch what i eat after 6 though. i consume about 6000-8000 calories a day adn am 9%bf
 
I'm 6'2" 190 and can't seem to eat enough... I eat an ok breakfast.. at least two chicken breasts at lunch.. a couple bars throughout the day.. big dinner.. finish the day off with a shake..

I am 5-6%bf even tough I don't eat completely clean!


i'd like to be 6'2" 220 or so.
 
Im 6'6'' 275 @ 12%bf. I too eat about 6000-8000 calories a day. I notice anything less and its not enough.. But i am very active, I play college football on top of lifting daily. That has a tendency to zap you. I try to stay away from eating late as well. Good post bro.........I was curious my self.

That's what I thought when I was 190. It's never be enough!!! :FRlol:

A couple things really helped me out.
Drink water all day.
Drink a protein shake around 10 am, 2:30 pm, and IMMEDIATELY after I walk out of the gym. I carry a cooler for my shakes.
Sleep 8 hours per night.
Cut down on the drinking.
 
I am 6"5 and currently 262. My bodyfat level is probably in the
18% range!!! I am leaning down big time though so I am sure
my stats will change fast. I was out ill for like 4 months and put
on over 30lbs of pure FAT!! I am only taking in about 2600 calories
a day (leaning down) now but plan on bringing the calories up
as soon as I can shed some more fat. I am eating very clean.
Also drinking 2 gallons of water a day. About 5 years ago, I was
in the best shape of my life at 300lbs and about 12% bf! Still a
work in progress:D

6'4" 250. my calories are around 3000 a day. thats with meals, shakes, and flaxseed oil. i have no idea how to eat more calories. after all this food im stuffed to the rim. havent checked bodyfat..but im guessing around 11-13 percent. i saw a few with 6000-8000 calories a day? any suggestions for me please?
 
I'm 6'6" and get in about 5200 calories a day, about 12% bf... I weigh 260 at the moment.... Shooting for 275-285 6-8%bf when all is said and done :)

I'm 6'4" 230lbs. I'm 31 years old and have an office job, so I don’t need too many cals. I don't eat anywhere near 5000 cals/day. Maybe 3000---if that. On 5000 cals/day I would get so fat I would go supernova and everything around me would be consumed in the fireball. I have lost about 20 lbs of fat and gain 10 lbs of muscle in the last 3 months eating only about 2500-3000 cals/day. For me it's not so much how many calories I eat, it's what I eat and when I eat it that seems to be most important. I'm not one of these guys with a super fast metabolism anymore. I used to be.
 
im 6'3 weigh 205 and eat as much as possible its very hard as i am in college so for me cal's are cal's and i eat junk food....but maintain high protein over 200g's and drink tons of water....i have a fast metabolism so its easy for me to eat what i want in an active lifestyle...

goal is to be 225 i'd be soo happy
as for the mirror thing i see a tall skinny dude in the mirror as well it sux...people say stuff to me but they're always small dudes or dont know shit about bodybuilding/diet/working out!!

6'3" 235-240. I don't want to weight more than 240. I've been 242 and pretty ripped but I thought it was too heavy and big for me.

I've been sick for a while now (2 weeks) and have been rehabing a knee injury that has plagued me for the past 2 years. I'm hoping the next few months are good to me and I get back to 100%.
 
6'5" 287 bf is probably around 14 now. I eat just about all the time. The problem for me is eating clean. W/ college and work it is time consuming to cook all the time. I have a problem eating a lot of calories but I eat a ton of protein. Lots of tuna and chicken and a big breakfast.
 
6'2" - 293 lbs. - BF 15%-18%

I have a pretty large gut but I'm a competitive powerlifter so it helps with the heavy stuff. I will probably try to lean up and get down to the 275 lb. class. Right now I eat whatever. The only thing I really try to do is to get enough protein in a day - 300 grams. I should probably eat more calories but I can't seem to motivate myself.

5,000 calories a day my metabolism is so fast
I lose weight getting dressed in the morning.
 
6'3 1/2 229lbs at the moment, but in week 3 of an 8 week test cycle, so hoping for at least 240-245 at the end of this one. Bodyfat? About 10%. In the end, I would be happy 280-300 at about 6-7% show time. But who knows, when I was 144.5lbs, 200 seemed massive!

When you hit those stat you'll be able to stand next to Gunter! Good luck, that's about my goal also. I'm hoping to hit 260 - 270 on my next cycle if everything goes well.
 
I´m the tallest one so far then, 6"10 and 275lbs. Don´t know b/f but I want to loose 3-4 inches of my waist. Off cycle I eat maybe 4500 cal/day. Next week I´ll start my first cutting cycle. It´ll be 1-1.5ml tren eod and 500-750mg cyp/week, I haven´t decided yet. Along with that I´ll use Nyc, yohimburn and .5 Arimidex/day. Maybe I´ll be able to loose those 3-4 inches.
 
I'm 6'2 and weigh 230 @ 12.5%. I've been off for about 2 months now and don't plan to go back on until at least the fall. Right now I'm eating 4000 cals (+/- 100) each day just to maintain, protien is up around 280 grams. After bulking on 4500-5000 calories for a 10 week cycle, I find that eating 4000 a day is easy.
 
the sign has the size and when i'm bulking i eat everything.. joke in the house is.. i need something to stick a fork in.. wife knows it time to EAT.. cut cycle alot of fruit.. high in carbs but i can't let my carbs go below 60-70 g or i just get too tired... cals under 2000 ed
 
I'm 6'2'' and eat 4000kcals. I think it's the reason i weight only 190lbs. lol

BTW You guys that eat more than 5000kcals/day, is it when you're on?

6'4 and 255 I stay mostly about 12BF% I find for me if I get much lower I start feeling weaker. But off cycle about 3500 a day and 250 protein. On a cycle about 4500 - 5000cals a day and about 350 to 400 in protein. and lots of water you really can't get to much through out the day. But deffintly to much all at once.
 
Just wondering.... and this is a serious question... do you guys ever feel more dominant around guys that are shorter? As in do feel you can be more assertive etc.?

As a guy that's only 5'10 (people think I'm 6' when I wear my boots :) ) I've lately started feeling kinda short... it seems like 6'2 is just average or normal these days. I know that the actual average height is like 5'9 for Americans and like 5'8 for the UK... but maybe those stats reflect earlier generations?

What do people in general consider short?... or tall for that matter?

Anyway, I know my questions are kinda off topic but I was thinking it would be a good opportunity to ask a bunch of tall bros.
 
I'm 6'4" at 229lbs best guess would be about 12%bf
taking in about 6500 cals / day
lots of protien... sushi 6 times a week....gainers fuel2500 for breakfast..then eat every two to three hours....gaining pretty good( 9lbs in past two weeks)

6'-4", 215lbs, ~12%bf. Maintenence calories 2500-3000 per day. about 150g protien per day - off cycle, non growth. I need a minimum of 3500 to 4000 calories and 200+ grams protien per day to see any growth. (~10 lbs/year LBM).

I'm 41, been lifting 5 years - started at 165-170lbs and the first 3-1/2 years of natural training and diet got me to 205. plateaued there and did an anavar only cycle, that got me to 210 and brought my %bf to 12% (was like 15... anavar gets 2 thumbs up in my book). Been off cycle for over a year now.

However, I have all the ingredients for my first (12 week)injectable cycle.... Sus @375/week (gonna shoot every 5 days), deca@ 300/week, oxymethelone @50mg/day, got all my anti-e's and HCG for mid and post cycle. I hope to level out at 225 after all is said and done with this cycle.

I'm a natural extomorph and it was always extremely difficult to gain any weight. My long term goals are to hit 235-240 and stay at about 12%bf. I think it will take me 3 to 4 years to get there.I have love handles and will probably always have them, I'm don't care about being "shredded" and having a 6 pack.... I just want to be beefy.

Never really thought about it, so I guess the answer is no. I don't even really notice when people are shorter then me, unless they're really short. Even then, who cares? It's not like it makes them any less of a person.
 
Damn, there are some big muthafuckas on this board! I'm 6' 4" and barely tip the scales at 200 lbs. with about 5% bf. But I was 163 a few years ago. It's good to hear there are a some tall ectomorphs just like me struggling to gain mass.
 
6'3 220 here...bf 15-17% (estimate). I consume around 3000 calories a day.(just an estimate)... i work graveyard shift so I usually sit around and eat all night... I wake up around 3 in the afternoon and eat breakfast then i go to the gym and come home and have a afterwork out meal replacement shake.. then about an hour later I eat supper or lunch for me.. then just before I go to work I eat a protien bar.. then i eat when I get to work and continue to do so every 2-3 hours while at work... I usually eat clean but cheat every now and then as some of us do..

6'10"?! Sh*t and I thought I was tall at 6'8". Do you play basketball?? LOL I get that question all the time and I absolutely hate it. I'm about 270lbs in the morning, with 16-18% BF :( Im not trying to be a ripped bastard, but I could lose a couple of pounds for sure. I dont really count my calories, I just try to eat clean.. well err sometimes :p I get crazy from all that counting. I eat whenever im hungry. :D
 
I am 6'6 297 right now and play college basketball. I have put on over 30 pounds in the last 6 weeks since my season has ended. I have not done any running at all and have been taking in probably around 6000 to 7000 calories a day. I eat 3 meals that are all you can eat at my dorm and I have 3 shakes that total around 800 calories. I plan on starting to diet this Mon. and get back into good cardio shape so I can get close to my playing weight ripped.

I'm 6'4'' 290lb. with 12.7% bodyfat, just checked three days ago.

I get 5500-6000 cals a day. Right now it's weird, I can eat whatever I want and maintain this weight, its really cool.
 
6'2" -6'4" (never been measured) 298lbs 11% I eat 10 meals a day starting at about 7 am. plus i drink 2 protein shakes with every meal. Here are current measurements:

Shouders- 66"
Chest- 60"
Arms- 22"
waist- 33-35"
thighs- 32"
calves- 20"
