I am not too sure about the penalties though. If they are talking 14 years for EACH OFFENSE then the guy could end up in prison for a very long time.

Still not sure what should be done with the brothers. Obviously they shouldn't be free in society, but I don't think that prison is appropriate either. Either way, they are pretty much fucked. I can not begin to fathom the emotional turmoil and internal trauma to all three of the children.

Sadly, shit like this goes on every day, but we only hear about it IF the media decides the story is *interesting* enough.

I would think 14 years for each offese is proper. But, you and I both know it's prolly NOT the case. He's out in just 14 years, and back into society an old pervert hunting his son's children. I hope they put him in general population. A good broom handle up the arse can be his "hard time".


The children are the victims, they have no voice, and when they do, it's brushed aside cuz the courts say they have a "hard on" against the parents! You know it, you live it.

It's a shame that is beyond cruel.

What makes some that are abused grow into abusers themselves while others fight hard to advocate AGAINST abuse?

I suppose we'll never know. One of those nature/nuture arguements.

I am thinking that both parents should be jailed. At some point in their adult lives they should have realized, "Hello... the whole world doesn't work this way and maybe I oughtta seek some help." Whereas depending on the ages of the boys they should be cut some slack for rehabilitation? If the boys are men, then forget it. They should just be removed from the general population not necessarily for their crimes because they were just children too, but certainly for the protection of society.
