LOL, I don't drink a lot anymore to keep myself at bay.

I'm at a place where I think I don't know anything about me anymore and it's about time to get reaquainted.

I actually don't so much anymore either, but I feel like I may be heading down that road again. Gots to nip it in the bud. I've honestly been thinking of taking a month or so off and just going away by myself. The wife-ish would probably be less than excited about that idea.

It takes about all my focus and control to keep myself in line anymore so drinking isn't a good idea, never really had a "drinking problem", but just need to not do dumb things.

Not sure if I can accomplish it in a month, I'm seriously considering throwing out most of my stuff, putting the few things I want to keep in storage, canceling my apartment, and just going away.

The reason I would have a place in mind is basically because if I did something like that I'd like to be as isolated as possible from the rest of society, especially this one. You do your walkabout here all you're going to encounter is people looking at you like some kind of weird circus freak when they found out what you're doing. The first time I'd hear "what, no cell phone even??""........I'd cleave someone's skull.

I have enough money in the bank to live comfortably for over a year without working. Without paying rent I could probably extend that out a lot.

A very good friend of mine took a year long vow of silence. He had the craziest stories about peoples reaction.
