this equals 12,500 miles a year....who drives that little anymore?

Me.

I bought a car in April, today it's got 3656 miles on it, and it already had 120 on the clock when I took delivery. So in five and a half months I've gone ~3500 miles.

well thats what I am looking to do...if you had looked at the thread..I dont like a lot of the 2000 and up bmw models though...just looking for a car that catches my eye some where around 3-7k to start then I can fuck around with it with my dad and maybe my son...I can put any amount of money in it over time but the amount my wife gave me to spend up front is 3-7k lol women

I meant the model 2002. Not the year.

Get a BMW and you'll have plenty of money to piss away on it later.

$200 batteries
$1,000 brake jobs
$500 tune ups
$100 oil changes
Etc...

Constant parts replacement.
Electronic systems that are so overengineered that it takes a mechanical three times the labor time to diagnose and fix.

BMW's are overengineered POSs.

IMHO

Lease a new 335i. The sedan, not the coupe. $450 per month, the only thing you'll ever pay for is tires. They're almost as fast as the current M3.

jeez.... "only" a THOUSAND DOLLARS A MONTH for a car that, as u admit, depreciates the second u drive it of the lot?

SUCH a bargain.....

They hold their value more than any other car, and $1,000 isn't that bad if you can afford it. Just takes a little ambition, homie.
