My Mom's entire family is in WI - Janesville, Brookfield, Racine, etc
Pretty much all my cousins are at or have graduated from UW Madison

I grew up in Janesville, and lived in Madison for a few years before moving to Colorado. My entire family pretty much lives in Janesville or Madison still... It's always fun to go back there and see them.

I didn't know the -wau-s were pronounced differently, though. The -wau-s in Waukeshaw, Pewaukee and Waupeca are all pronounced the same to us.
